Geek Valentine // Just a Random Update #4

Happy Valentine's Day, Geeks!

The last update post I wrote was over two months ago, so I figured it's time I get a little personal on the blog again.
For the first time in forever, I had plans on the 14th of February: I met my best friend from school! She's in Mumbai, so we went to the beach and had long talks and took long walks together.
I'm still going to uphold my tradition of watching the chick flick Valentine's Day on Valentine's Day, so I'll probably do that after I finish writing this post.

My last midterm exam was today, and I'm pleased to say that all five went really well. I have a feeling this semester is going to be much better than the first, academic-wise.

In other news, I'm still not sure what I want to do with my life after I graduate in two years. Currently, I'm leaning towards either Psychology or Journalism. While I like business management, I don't know if I could spend the rest of my life working in the corporate world. I'd love to be a writer or a blogger full-time, but I think I'd need something more concrete than that to be satisfied with my work-life. But then again, writing IS my passion. Shouldn't that be enough for me as a career?

Now that my exams are over, it's back to business as usual. It's time to get fitter, get smarter, and get happier. I've been neglecting my workouts and my online course because of illnesses and exams, but that changes now.

Oh, I also want to say that my New Year's resolution of staying positive is going really well. I've started maintaining a Gratitude List. Every day, I write ten random things I'm grateful for, and I make it a point to be optimistic about everything and everyone. And you know, the more I'm grateful, the better my life becomes. So it's a win-win! ^_^

I think that's it for now. I might go watch Love, Rosie (starring our very own Finnick Odair) tomorrow or sometime next week, so if I do, I'll be sure to review it.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
Auf wiedersehen!

  1. This years seems to be promising for you and has been good to you so far. Hope that continues (for forever).
Anyhow, you still have 2 years left to decide which profession you want to be in. You could totally go into writing, but then again you have to work equally hard to be able to make a firm base for your future once you get down to business.

Well, take care. And keep writing. :)

    1. Thanks, Ajay. Let's see what the future has in store for me.
And welcome to my blog! I hope you like it here. ^_^

    2. You are welcome.
Wait a sec! How did you know my name?

Thanks. Yeah, your blog is cool. Will remember to visit often. :)

    3. Don't underestimate my detective skills, buddy. :P

    4. *Raises hands*.
      Okay, Sherlock ji. :P
      Not over estimating. Just awed.

    5. Update : or Underestimate.

(You changed within seconds of my publishing the reply.)

    6. Typo. I meant underestimate. You should be more than awed. XD

    7. Actually I'm.
I just didn't find the right word to describe that.

Care to share the secret ?

    8. I just went through your profile, found your blogs, realised you had also liked my FB page (thanks for that), and thus I was able to address you by your name.

I care very deeply about my readers, you see.

    9. Yeah. That you do. I just saw that.

You did of work to track ne down. :P
Oh, you are welcome. Your blog is great. So it deserves a Like.

And I thought you will keep this a mystery to me. :P
Looks like I'm good at persuading. :P
